Trekker's most preferred trekking destination in Nepal is Annapurna. It is situated to the North central part of Nepal, which is 55 km long massif bounded by the Kali Gandaki gorge on the West, the Marshyangdi river on the North and East and Pokhara, a valley of lakes on the South. With the presence of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range, Kali Gandaki gorge that is deepest gorge in the world (1020m deep), Thorangla pass which is highest as well as longest pass in the world, Tilicho lake which is the highest altitude lake in the world, severall hindus temples and Buddhist Monasteries; trekkers can experience a great pleasure while pursuing a journey through this region. This region includes Annapurna with altitude 8091 m (26,545 ft ) and thirteen additional peaks over 7000 m. There are 16 other peaks lying in this region.
